“Limit reached” errors in Sola (AI credits, workflows, data sources, users, records, and more)

Modified on Wed, 24 Dec at 5:48 PM

Overview

Sola workspaces have usage and feature limits based on your current plan (pricing tier). When you hit one of these limits, Sola may block the action you’re trying to take (run AI, run workflows, add data sources, add users, create apps, ingest more records, etc.).

Common error messages you may see

You might encounter messages such as:

  • Sola AI limit reached – “You have reached your weekly Sola AI usage limit for your current plan.”

  • Workflow execution limit reached – “You have reached your limit of workflow executions for your current plan.” (Displayed in your workspace usage/allowances.)

  • Connected Data Source limit reached

  • Proactive AI Solution limit reached

  • Total apps limit reached

  • Users limit reached

  • Agentic Workflow AI credits limit reached

  • Total # of records / data source records limit reached

What this means

You’ve used the full allowance included with your plan for that specific feature or billing/usage period. Your plan determines limits like weekly AI credits, weekly agentic workflow credits, number of connected data sources, team members, apps, and daily data-source record capacity.

How to check your current limits and usage

Workspace owners can view and manage plan, billing, and usage.

  1. In Sola, go to Settings.

  2. Open Plans & Billing for the workspace.

  3. Under Usage, review your current usage and the workspace limits for the current period (e.g., AI credits, workflow executions, team members, connected data sources, data source records, etc.).

How to check pricing tiers (plan limits)

To compare what each tier includes (e.g., weekly AI credits, connected data sources, team members, apps, agentic workflow credits, data-source records per day), review Sola’s pricing page.

Resolution by limit type

1) “Sola AI limit reached” (weekly AI credits)

Explanation

Your workspace has consumed all weekly AI credits for the plan. AI credits refresh weekly and do not roll over.

How to resolve

  • Wait for the weekly refresh (credits refresh weekly on the same day your subscription began).

  • Upgrade to a higher plan to increase your weekly AI credits.

2) “Workflow execution limit reached”

Explanation

You’ve used all workflow executions included in your plan’s current usage week (this allowance is shown under Settings → Plans & Billing → Usage).

How to resolve

  • Upgrade to a higher plan to increase workflow execution capacity (if available for your plan).

  • Wait until the workspace usage period resets (weekly) as shown in the UI under Usage.

Note: Sola also has workflow credits for running agentic workflows (separate from “execution count” style limits).

3) “Agentic Workflow AI credits limit reached” (weekly workflow credits)

Explanation

Agentic workflows consume workflow credits, which refresh weekly and do not roll over. If you hit this weekly limit, workflow executions may pause until credits refresh.

How to resolve

  • Wait for weekly workflow credit refresh, or

  • Upgrade for higher workflow credit limits.

4) “Connected Data Source limit reached”

Explanation

Your plan caps how many data sources you can connect.

How to resolve

  • If you’re at the cap, consider disconnecting unused temporary sources like CSV (if that fits your org’s needs) and then add the new one.

  • Upgrade to a plan with more connected data sources.

5) “Total # of records / data source records limit reached”

Explanation

Plans include a data source records (per day) capacity. If you hit the daily data-record limit, processing pauses until the reset time.

How to resolve

  • Upgrade for higher daily record capacity.

  • Note - The data source records are being reset daily, but if you've reached the cap - and didn't upgrade, or removed some of the sources - you will most likely reach the limit every day.

6) “Total apps limit reached”

Explanation

Your plan caps how many apps you can create.

How to resolve

  • Upgrade to increase the app limit.

  • Archive apps you no longer need to free space (if your workspace workflow supports that).

7) “Users limit reached” (team members)

Explanation

User/team-member counts are fixed per workspace by plan.

How to resolve

  • To maintain security and optimize your plan, periodically remove inactive members (if appropriate) before inviting new ones.

  • Upgrade to a plan with more team members.

8) “Proactive AI Solution limit reached”

Explanation

If your plan includes Proactive AI Solutions (or it’s enabled for your workspace), there may be plan-based caps shown on the pricing page and in Usage.

How to resolve

  • Check Settings → Plans & Billing → Usage to confirm which proactive limit was reached and when it resets.

  • Upgrade if you need higher limits.
